Curtis Gee - Club President
Curtis comes to SPVC with 28 years of high school coaching and club volleyball experience. He has dedicated his life to the developement of volleyball in the Sacramento region. He has been the head varsity coach at Ponderosa HS where he won his first section title. From there, he served as the head coach of Rio Americano HS, Oakridge HS, Loretto HS and he currently serves as the program director of El Camino High School. In 2001 Curtis received the prestigious Gary Colberg Award for his contributions to youth volleyball. In 2002 he was inducted into the Evening Optimist High School Coaching Hall of Fame. Curtis continues to serve the Sacramento volleyball community every day
Kathy (Kat) Sullivan-Torrez - Head Coach 17's-1 Blue
Kathy (Kat) Sullivan-Torrez comes to Sac Performance with 26 years of coaching experience. She has had the opportunity to coach at the Professional, Div. 1, NAIA, Community College and High School levels. She is a former Division I setter and a USVBA All-American. She has had the opportunity to coach 4 AVCA All-Americans at the Community College level where many of her former players went on to continue their volleyball careers and education at the Div. 1, 2, 3 and NAIA levels. She is currently a professor of Kinesiolgy at American River College and JV coach at El Camino High School. Kat is also a double goal certified coch with the Positive Coaching Alliance.
Leah Klemenhagen - Head Coach 16's-1 Blue
Leah Klemenhagen brings a wealth of knowledge to Sac Performance with over 10 years of coaching experience. Prior to SPVC, Leah served as a coach for NCVC for 3 years. She had the opportunity to play at the Division 1 level for Sacramento State on full scholarship as a middle blocker/opposite. Leah has played professionally overseas in Spain and continues to play on professional traveling teams. As a coach, Leah has been the Varsity assistant coach at Christian Brothers High School for 4 years and was the head Varsity coach for the boys program in 2013. Prior to CBHS, she was an assistant coach for William Jessup University's Women's Volleyball program for 2 years. Leah holds a Master's degree in School Counseling and is a school counselor at St. Francis & Sacred Heart elementary schools. Leah is also a double goal certified coach with the Positive Coaching Alliance.
Katie Hill - Head Coach 16's 2 Silver
Molly Hanrahan - Head Coach 15's Blue
Molly brings a wealth of volleyball experience to SPVC. Her playing career started at the age of 12 with High Voltage VBC. After 4 years of volleyball at St. Francis High School Molly played volleyball for American River College. From there she attended Briar Cliff University as a 2 sport scholarship athlete in Volleyball and Basketball. As a coach Molly has spent the past 7 years as the head frosh coach and varsity assistant at St. Francis, her alma mater and this year will serve as an assistant coach at Cosumnes River College. Her club coaching experience includes time with East Volleyball Club as well as Force VBC. Molly also serves as a personal trainer and an Independent Beachbody coach.
Greg Chapman (Chappy) - Head Coach 14's - Blue
COACH CHAPPY comes to Sac Performance for his 15th season of coaching club volleyball. He was born and raised in Yuba City where he attended Faith Christian and Yuba City High Schools. Entering his 7th season as the head coach of Yuba College, Chappy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience both as a coach and a player. His high school coaching background ranges from 1991 through 2005, including stints at Sutter, Casa Robles and Yuba City high schools. As a player, Coach Chappy was an accomplished setter, winning the Men’s NCVA Gold Championship along with multiple USVBA AA Silver Championships.
Lindsay Rupport - Assistant Coach 14's Blue
Deanne Nocetti - Head Coach 13's Blue
Deanne grew up in San Diego and played for the San Diego Volleyball Club before playing fours years collegiately at the University of San Francisco as a middle/outside hitter. Immediately following college she began a 22 year coaching career at many levels including Head Women's Assistant at San Francisco State University and Head Coach for the University of San Francisco Men's Club Team. She continued at Sacred Heart Cathedral HS in San Francisco as the girls and boys Varsity head coach and Director of the Irish Volleyball Club for several years. After moving to Sacramento in 2000, Deanne was Varsity coach at Jesuit High School for a couple of years. In recent years she has been coaching various middle school teams and held a two year stint as JV coach at El Camino High School.
Cassie Baxter - Head Coach 12's Cassie
Cassie started competetive volleyball at the age of 8. She was a 4 year varsity starter at El Camino High School where she was voted as an All-League Player in 3 of those years. Cassie went on to play at American River College and then to Cal State East Bay where she majored in Kinesiology. Cassie currently teaches at Riverbank in West Sacramento and was hired this year as the Women's Head Volleball Coach at Cosumnes River College. We are excited to have Cassie in the SPVC family.
Ed Jackson - Head Coach 18's-Ed Area
The San Diego native has 15 years of collegiate
volleyball coaching experience, most recently as the head coach of Div. II
Academy of Art in San Francisco. Prior to that, he had assistant coaching stops
at Fresno State, William & Mary and UC Santa Barbara, and was the
recruiting coordinator at both Fresno State and William & Mary. He also
oversaw a sand volleyball training program at Academy of Art, and helped with a
sand training program at Fresno State. Ed is currently serving as the lead assistant coach at Sac State.
Tim Reilly - Asst Coach 18's-Tim Area
Tim brings a wealth of coaching experience, from all levels, to SPVC. Tim has been coaching volleyball in the Sacramento Area for over 20 years, ranging from recreation programs that introduced players to the game, to playoff high school programs including Loretto, Oakmont, Elk Grove, and Casa Roble. Tim has had the opportunity to coach all ages of club volleyball with success starting with Camichael Juniors, continuing with Sac Select VBC, Nor Cal Select, and SVVC.

Eugene brings many years of club experience to Sac Performance. He as been a head coach at Nor Cal Select and Sac Valley VBC for the past 8 years, at both the 16's and 14's age levels.
Kristen Matthew - Head Coach 16s-Kristen Area
Martin Soyama - Head Coach 15's Silver
Martin brings a wealth of experience to SPVC. Martin has been involved with Sacramento volleyball since moving from San Jose in 1991. His high school resume' includes Encina HS, Rocklin HS, Loretto HS and currently he is the head coach at El Camino HS. He has won Section titles in 96', 09', 11', 12'and 14'. In 2008 Martin was inducted into the Evening Optimist High School Coaching Hall of Fame. In 2009 and 2012 he was named Coach of the Year by the Sacramento Bee. Martin was also a Junior National qualifying coach with Carmichael Juniors. He has also coached with Nor Cal Select and SVVC. Martin most recently lead his 17's team to a National bid in Junior Nationals in 2014 and his 18's team to a bid in 2015. In 2015 Martin was named the California Coach's Association Volleyball Coach of the Year.

Margaret Sotoa - Head Coach 14's Margaret
Margaret also brings a wealth of experience and success to Sac Performance. Margaret was the head coach at St. Philomines for over 7 years. As a club coach at the 12's and 14's level for the past 11 years she has set the stage for the development of some of the areas top players. Margaret will continue to set a solid foundation for Sac Performance.

Mark Harrison - Staff Coach
Mark began his club coaching career in 1994 as founder and Head Coach of the River City Volleyball Club (a club made up of St. Francis HS volleyball players). In 1996, he helped current Sac State Women’s VB Head Coach Ruben Volta start High Voltage Volleyball Club. At High Voltage, Mark coached and assisted all players and all age levels. He spent time as the Head Coach of the Jr. Varsity teams at both St Francis HS and Jesuit HS, and was on the coaching staff of the Sac State Men’s Volleyball Team for 4 years (including one year as the Head Coach). Most recently, Mark spent the past two seasons coaching the 5th & 6th grade team at St Ingatius (the team was the 2103 PAL JV Champ), and led last years SPVC's 12-Blue team to four league tournament finals, and a #2 ranking of all 12U teams in the Greater Sacramento Region.
As a player, Mark excelled at both the indoor and outdoor (2-man) level. He earned a number of accolades while playing at Sacramento State, where he was a 3-Time All-American, National Championship MVP, and spent some time training with the USA Men’s National team in San Diego. Mark has earned his certification as a “Double-Goal Coach” by the Positive Coaching Alliance
